Last night the Lucas County Republican Party Screening Committee met and recommended that Dave Schulz be the endorsed candidate for the open Toledo City Council spot. According to the Toledo Blade, two other men who were interested in the endorsement were Dave Davison, a retired Toledo police officer, and Jonathon Rodebaugh, a quality manager for a manufacturing company.

This race sure has stirred up interest. There certainly has not been a lack of candidates regardless of political party affiliation.

Sad, but true. On the other hand, a mass of minnows may overpower the sharks.
A mass of minnows are nothing more than a minor annoyance to a determined shark.
All of you candidates be careful out there, there are sharks in the water.
