That's the Predicted Turnout - will it end up being lower? That we will find out later. As Jill pointed out in the comments the numbers don't add up. :-)

Ohio has 88 bipartisan county boards of elections. The Secretary of State`s office installed point-to-point T1 lines for all 88 county boards of elections, providing direct, high-speed electronic connections between the agency and the counties. This allows open and direct electronic communication between the Secretary of State and the county boards.

I just heard on WIMA-Lima that the attorney general's office is holding all results - ALL RESULTS, INCLUDING LOCAL RACES - until 9 p.m., due to the problems with counting in Cuyahoga County. I'll try to get more details and pass it along.
Which means we have about an hour since that is probably in effect for Lucas County as well.
Yes - we are all on delay according to the state website:
A court has ordered a precinct in Cuyahoga County to remain open until 9:30 p.m. The Secretary of State's office, therefore, will not report results until after all polling locations are closed.

Rep. Stephanie Tubbs Jones and Democratic Gubernatorial candidate Bryan Flannery are at Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Cout in front of Judge Nancy McDonnell asking for the polls to be kept open late.
When poll workers had trouble setting up the equipment in the morning, the polling place didn't open until 1:30 p.m. for voting.
With all the problems reported at the polls Tuesday, NewsChannel5 has learned that the absentee results will be delayed.
About 17,000 absentee votes will have to be hand counted because of a problem with optical scanners.

One thing - the predicted voter turnout numbers - the Dem and GOP numbers don't add up to the predicted total. Am I reading that right?
They way they do it is confusing - I think the only prediction is the total number with the number of Democrats and Republicans being those who register as that. Which still doesn't make sense because that would mean over 200,000 registered voters don't select a D or an R. Let's hope the election results are clearer than the way they do their predictions (lol)

How does that compare to previous primaries? (If you know) I don't know if 74 is a high or low number for my particular precinct except to know that for the last special Springfield School levy there was only 55 voters for that partcular precinct. I haven't done a lot of research on my new "neighborhood" when it comes to voting yet.
