Former Mayor Jack Ford goes deeper into political issues surrounding the Governor's race. Two of his 11 that caught my eye immediately:
3. Regionalism. Everybody talks about it. Nobody does anything about it. Let’s have the next governor announce a set of incentives to foster regional cooperation around Ohio. More state dollars into the local government funds could be one such incentive. Grants for economic development enterprise could be another.
11. E-Government. Using e-mail and other technologies, we can expand the capacity of citizens to speak to government. We can use technology to make government more interactive and give citizens more voice. There are new tools such as governmental simulation games and website poll votes which will make the connection with citizens easier by the day.

Maybe the reason Sojourner's Truth is featuring him is because he's teaching at BGSU.
He has been involved in the Democratic Party for a long time even at the State level so I think what he writes about is worth pointing out. I agree with him on some of his points, especially 11 - the one on E-government.
Sounds like Jack Ford would advocate for allowing TPS to help facilitate a citizen to stream a meeting live over the Internet as part of the E-government initiative :)
