According to this morning's Toledo Blade as linked in the title...Six Toledo area citizens filed signature petitions for the at large opening on Toledo City Council.
Bob Vasquez, Dave Schulz, Lourdes Santiago and Joe McNamara are the four candidates we have talked about.
David Davison who is a retired police officer who's name those of you who followed the Father Robinson murder trial might remember, he was the first police officer on the scene. Davison also appeared before the Lucas County Republican Party Screening committee, which endorsed Dave Schulz.
Then a new name, James Mohn, who is listed as a Democrat also has joined in submitting signature petitions. The only online information I was able to find on James Mohn was one who retired from UAW Local 14, this past June as a Cutter/Grinder with 11.2 years of service. I'm not sure if this is the same James Mohn, but I'll try to find out information on him as well as more information on Mr. Davison.
